About the event

It is that wonderful time a year again where Rochester Hearing and Speech Center join forces with the Al Sigl Community of Agencies to raise funds for the Rochester community – serving over 55,000 children and adults with special needs!

Our agency is once again participating in the 30st Annual WalkAbout which will take place on Sunday, October 27th and we invite you to come help us celebrate 97 years of success by participating in this annual fundraiser.

You are more than welcome to walk individually or create your own teams! Friendly competition never hurts, so create your teams, set your goals and let the fierce competition begin. There will be fundraising prizes for overall fundraisers and top teams. As this is a Halloween-themed event, we encourage everyone to wear costumes. There will be costume prizes for the funniest male & female, most creative Male & Female, cutest male & female and best group.

This is a FREE Halloween-themed event with breakfast, a costume contest, indoor trick-or-treating, and live entertainment. Each participant who raises $25 or more receives a WalkAbout t-shirt!

Registration is easy and details are below. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Stein at
