Rochester Hearing & Speech Center is the only nonprofit hearing center in Monroe County. Part of our mission is to provide accessible treatment and services to uninsured and under-insured individuals.
RHSC is one of only two audiology providers in the area that accepts Medicaid and Medicare for hearing aids (UR Strong being the other). For-profit hearing centers will accept Medicaid and Medicare for testing, but not for hearing aid devices as there is no profit for the provider.
Additionally, RHSC has its own privately funded Financial Aid Fund to assist patients with financial need.
