Dr. Deborah Sanderson is originally from Rome, NY and attended SUNY Geneseo graduating with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Speech and Hearing Science in 1981 and continued her education at SUNY Geneseo graduating with an Masters of Arts Degree in Audiology in 1982. She then received her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University in 2009.
Dr. Sanderson is a New York State licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser, as well as a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She began her audiology career working for an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist in Rochester, NY for three years before joining Rochester Hearing & Speech Center in 1985. She is passionate about diagnostic hearing evaluations, auditory processing testing and hearing aid fittings, especially while working with the pediatric population. She also specializes in Industrial hearing conservation testing and interpretation.
Dr. Sanderson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, swimming, biking, kayaking, zip lining and hiking, especially in the Adirondacks.
