Cassandra George Ramos has worked in the nonprofit sector her entire adult life, including 30 of those years in fund development as a development director, major gift officer, campaign manager, foundation director, and fundraising consultant. Specializing in an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving, supervision, and leadership, Cassandra is a champion for a team-based fund development model that engages organizational leadership, line staff, board members, and volunteers in a 360-degree approach to fundraising for their organization.
A skillful interviewer and group facilitator, Cassandra is a teacher at heart. She has presented workshops and seminars both locally and nationally on fundraising best practices, moves management, board engagement, donor cultivation, and capital campaign readiness and administration. Most recently, she taught the course on resource development in St. John Fisher College’s Community Engagement certificate program.
