Reception/Customer Service Associate
The Rochester Hearing and Speech Center of Rochester is seeking a Reception/Customer Service Associate.
Hours of Work: 40 hours. (may vary between 7:30 am to 7:00 pm). Saturday morning hours also may be required; infrequent overtime.
Job Summary: Greet and check out customers, and inform them of services provided, insurance coverage and payment terms. Optimize the scheduling of clinicians based on type of service required, facilities and equipment availability to maximize revenue production.
Key Job Tasks: Greet and direct customers to service appointments, Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls of customers, suppliers, business contacts etc., Process mail/faxes both internally and externally, Answer inquiries from customers relative to Audiology and Speech services provided and schedule them for appointments when requested,Verify insurance coverage and/or government payments, Accept and process payments at conclusion of appointments and schedule additional visits as required, Input complete customer profile and appointment information into the customer service system, Backup and assist in other administrative functions such as medical record filing, data entry and customer follow up calls.
Physical requirements: Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface periodically through out the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required for filing documents or storing materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts, etc. on occasion. Ability to operate typical office equipment such as a personal computer, copier, fax, calculator, etc.
Mental Requirements: The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. The ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well.
Qualifications/Skills: Excellent customer interpersonal and communication skills required. Minimum High School Diploma required with basic math skills. AAS preferred. PC proficiency and proficiency in data entry and word processing Analyze and adjust to varying factors that affect client scheduling Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Audiologist
We are currently seeking Audiologists to:
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing services in the clinic, on our mobile unit or on-site at nursing homes.
- Provide value-added hearing health services including:
- dispensing of assistive device products
- hearing health classes
- on-site hearing screenings at health fairs and educational seminars
- hearing loss prevention education at health fairs and in the community
- Provide on-site industrial hearing conservation via our mobile unit
- Provide comprehensive central auditory processing evaluations

Speech-Language Pathology
We are currently interviewing speech-language pathologists to:
* Provide In-Home and Center-Based group language therapy sessions to toddlers 18 months to 3 years of age. A consultative collaborative approach to treatment is used as parents are taught to use speech and language stimulation techniques.
* Provide speech language diagnostic and therapy services to children ages 3 to 5 year in the clinic, child care and home settings. Parents and caregivers are an integral part of the therapy program.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- CCC, NYS License and Teaching Certification preferred
- CFY candidates will be considered
- Preschool experience preferred
