Audiologist

We are currently interviewing Audiologists to:

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing services in the clinic, on our mobile unit or on-site at nursing homes.
  • Provide value-added hearing health services including:
    • dispensing of assistive device products
    • hearing health classes
    • on-site hearing screenings at health fairs and educational seminars
    • hearing loss prevention education at health fairs and in the community
  • Provide on-site industrial hearing conservation via our mobile unit
  • Provide comprehensive central auditory processing evaluations

We are dedicated to continuous improvement of clinical skills through department meetings, inservices, workshops, individual and group training sessions.

Speech-Language Pathology

We are currently interviewing speech-language pathologists to:

  • Provide speech language diagnostic and therapy services to 3 and 5 year old children in the clinic, child care and home settings. Parents and caregivers are an integral part of the therapy program.
  • Provide in-home and Center-based group language therapy sessions to toddlers 18 months to 3 years of age. A consultative collaborative approach to treatment is used as parents are taught to use speech and language stimulation techniques.
  • Provide speech and language services to a classroom of speech and language delayed children. Classrooms are self-contained or integrated into a day care setting. The Speech-Language Pathologist works collaboratively with a team consisting of a classroom teacher, social worker, psychologist, and occupational and/or physical therapist. Responsibilities include providing individual and small group therapy in a combination of pull-out and push-in sessions.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
CCC, NYS License and Teaching Certification preferred
CFY candidates will be considered
Preschool experience preferred
